Field Guide Entry #143
Baron Bellowloaf
Netherkin • The Gloom Caverns • 2026 sighting
Appearance
A rounded midnight-blue body, black horns and claws, and a sweeping pale mustache maintained to ancestral standards. His enormous mouth gives minor complaints the resonance of royal proclamations.
Known quirks
- Sings at closed doors until someone opens them.
- Often decides not to go through.
- Tucks his feet into a perfect loaf and becomes unavailable for official business.
- Presents his mustache for admiration, then turns around to offer the complete exhibition.
- Follows favorite creatures everywhere, insisting he was already headed that way.
Personality notes
- An affectionate old gentleman with impeccable confidence and selective manners.
- He may forget why he followed you into a room, but he is always pleased to find you there.
