Field Guide Entry #128
Oopsnoodle
Brineborn • The Drowned Deep • 2026 sighting
Appearance
● Larger, fuller-bodied form with a deeper, more grounded stance ● Multiple tentacles that extend with confidence and retract with uncertainty ● Subtle speckled glaze, like disturbed water settling (briefly) ● Wide, open form that suggests capability… misleadingly
Known quirks
- Attempts to fix problems mid-action, creating new ones
- Picks things up with purpose, puts them down elsewhere
- Frequently tangles himself while helping others untangle
- Freezes after mistakes as if that resets reality
- Known to “assist” Noodleknot into worse situations
Personality notes
- Oopsnoodle is earnest, loyal, and absolutely certain he’s improving things right up until he isn’t.
- He feels deeply responsible for outcomes, though rarely connected to their cause.
