Field Guide Entry #114
Twigbit
Arboral • Whispering Glade • 2026 sighting
Appearance
Small pixie form with oversized feet built for stomping rather than landing. Delicate wings sit just behind the shoulders, perpetually in motion and rarely helpful.
Finished in earthy woodland glazes with subtle bark-like textures and soft color breaks that suggest movement, even when still.
Known quirks
- Attempts flight without preparation
- Lands loudly, then acts casual
- Blames furniture for poor outcomes
- Claims his wings are “still calibrating”
Personality notes
- Twigbit is enthusiastic, stubborn, and deeply resistant to learning from experience.
- He approaches every situation with confidence that vastly exceeds his abilities.
- Among the Arboral critters, he is regarded with fond exasperation and quietly kept away from anything fragile.
