Field Guide Entry #121
Craterfax
Netherkin • The Gloom Caverns • 2026 sighting
Appearance
Soft, rounded lunar body with cratered texture and shifting aqua-blue glaze. A permanently lodged saucer crown — slightly scorched, deeply symbolic.
Two polite teeth peek over the rim, ready to discuss the universe. Four stubby moon-feet braced for further contact.
Known quirks
- Claims to receive transmissions via appliance hums
- Freezes during full moons “in case they check attendance”
- Refers to crumbs as “samples”
- Blames the saucer for his poor memory
- Stores salt, rings, or tiny objects he believes are “clearly not from Earth”
Personality notes
- Craterfax is gentle, cosmic, and confidently misinformed.
- He believes he has a role in a much larger plan — he just can’t remember what it is, who assigned it, or why it involves your kitchen.
- Loyal to his chosen human and suspicious of ceilings.
