Appearance

Glimmergrub has a plump charcoal-black body covered in a glittering glaze that flashes bronze, gold and smoky silver when it catches the light. He has floppy ears, striped little horns, stubby feet and the wonderfully oversized mouth characteristic of the Stompling family.

Inside that enormous mouth sits one tiny tooth. Just one.

Glimmergrub is extremely proud of it. Researchers have been instructed not to ask what happened to the others.

Known quirks

Glimmergrub is naturally attracted to anything shiny.
Jewelry?
Interesting.
Coins?
Very interesting.
A gum wrapper catching the light from across the room?
EMERGENCY.
He is also known to slowly reposition himself throughout the day to catch the best possible light on his glitter glaze.
Humans often assume someone moved him.
No one moved him.

Personality notes

Despite his dramatic appearance, Glimmergrub is friendly, curious and surprisingly affectionate.
He enjoys being admired, guarding small treasures and receiving compliments about his glaze.
He does not enjoy being told that glitter is “a little much.”
There is no such thing as too much glitter.
There is only not enough light.
