Field Guide Entry #125
Oinkmire
Burrowfolk • Meadowvale Pastures • 2026 sighting
Appearance
● Rounded pig form with a warm pink base glaze, partially obscured by earthy, muddy tones ● Soft snout and perked ears, giving her an alert but innocent expression ● Glossy interior bowl, perfect for holding snacks (or things she found in the dirt) ● Sturdy little feet, ideal for rooting and repositioning
Known quirks
- Has never encountered a clean surface she didn’t want to “adjust”
- Gathers small items and relocates them into slightly damp clusters
- Snorts softly when pleased (which is often)
- Leaves faint traces of where she’s been, but never enough to prove anything
- Considers all found objects temporarily hers
Personality notes
- Oinkmire is joyful, curious, and entirely without guilt.
- She does not intend chaos—she simply follows what feels right, and what feels right is usually muddy.
- There is no malice in her, only enthusiasm and a complete lack of boundaries when it comes to dirt.
