Field Guide Entry #111
Pipwick
Netherkin • The Gloom Caverns • 2026 sighting
Appearance
Rounded, compact body with oversized ears perched high like satellite dishes tuned to snack frequencies. Finished in deep mossy green glaze with warm reddish clay polka dots peeking through like woodland freckles.
His wide open mouth reveals a ring of tiny sculpted teeth along the rim, giving the impression he is permanently mid-“Oh!” His interior runs glossy and dark — like cocoa or secrets he absolutely cannot keep.
Known quirks
- Gasps when seasoning is added
- Believes chip bags are applause
- Freezes mid-gasp when noticed
- Gets emotionally attached to popcorn
- Thinks whispering is just very soft cheering
Personality notes
- Pipwick is not dramatic — he is delighted.
- He believes small moments deserve big reactions.
- Among the Netherkin, he is known for enthusiasm, volume (internal), and the ability to turn an ordinary snack into a tiny celebration.
